Grape Room, May 11th, 8pm

Please come out on Friday, May 11th to the Grape Room in Manayunk for a full band show at 8 pm.  This is always one of our favorite rooms to play and we will be sharing the bill with a bunch of great artists: Charles Ramsay (who is promoting his new CD that evening) Josh Flagg and The Gut Strings.

Also, a big thank you to everyone who came to the last Dobbs Show.  We will be returning and playing on the Main Stage on July 27th at 8:30 PM.

Recording with Brett Talley continues as our schedules permit.  I have set a deadline of getting it done before Mayan Doomsday in December :)

Update

Just a quick update, we are excited to make our full band debut at The Legendary Dobbs on South Street in Philadelphia on April 21.  This will be an early show at 8:30.  Also, we will be returning to the Grape Room on May 11.  Please check my "shows" page for details on these as well as other acoustic shows.

Recording with Brett Talley was placed on temporary hiatus while he and his wife Susan had their first baby.  Looking forward to getting back to work and I continue to write new material.

Winter 2012

Quick update on shows... I have full band shows coming up on Sat. Feb. 18th at 8 pm at the Grape Room and just booked The Legendary Dobbs on South Street for Sat. April 21st, also at 8 pm.  

If you're coming out to the Grape, feel free to join us for pre-show dinner/drinks at Jake's & Cooper's on Main Street in Manayunk around 6 pm.

Also, the CD is coming along and I'm looking forward to doing a "release" later this year.  Stay tuned.

Grape Room, Dec. 10th & Recording

Please join us for another full band show at the Grape Room in Manayunk on Saturday, Dec. 10th.  This will be an early show at 8pm and there will be a pre-show dinner/happy hour at a local establishment.  I hope you can make it out.

Also, I am starting recording with Brett Talley of the Brett Talley Band  and IKE.  This will feature a few songs that we've been playing over the past few years, a few older tunes, and some never before heard material.  This is my first official recording project in four years, so I'm pretty excited to be starting on it.

Grape Room, Friday, Sept. 23, and more shows

 Hope everyone has had a great summer.  Can't believe it's almost over!  

I have a few things coming up in the next few months...  First off I'll be playing the Grape Room in Manayunk on Friday, Sept. 23 at 9 pm (no lie this time, it's really at 9).  

Also, on Oct. 28, I'll be doing another show at the Grape Room with Rocky Horrorfest -- a Rocky Horror Picture show tribute party organized by my ex-bandmate Jeanne B.  and her sister.  

I also have a few acoustic shows coming up at the usual spots -- Ram's Head and Baxter's.  

I've also booked some studio time with Brett Talley of IKE to record some new music, so I'm looking forward to recording another CD (or whatever we call it these days).

Grape Room July 8th

I'm happy to announce this excellent show coming up on Friday, July 8th at the Grape Room at 105 Grape Street in Manayunk.  The old Grape Street Pub is back and better than ever.  Joining me onstage will be John McMullen on bass, Nick Mullan on guitar and Doug Wolfe.  I hope to debut some new material.  Look forward to seeing you there.

Fall '10 Shows

I have a few shows coming up in the Philly area that I'm excited about to tell you about.

First off I am playing on Oct. 2 at the Ram's Head Bar & Grille in West Chester (40 West Market Street, West Chester, PA 19382).  This will be West Chester University Homecoming weekend, so we are expecting a big crowd.  This will be a full band show and we'll be playing downstairs from 9pm - 1am.  Scot Silver of The Nerve will be sitting in on guitar and vocas.

Next, on Wednesday, Oct. 5 we will be returning to the new/old Grape Room at 105 Grape Street in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia (19127).  Grape Street was a Philly institution for great original music for many years at its original location on Grape Street.  In 2005 the club moved to a much larger location on Main Street.  This was where I had my release party for my CD "Another Chapter" and played numerous shows.  Unfortunately, it shut down unexpectedly in 2008, but has reeopened at its original location.  I am happy to see it back and to be playing there on the 5th.  I know it's a school night, but I hope you can come down for a bit to check out the new Grape Street location and to support the band.  This will be a full band show with Chad on guitar, John on bass and Doug on drums. 

Then, on Friday, Nov. 12, we will be returning to Fergie's in Center City Philadelphia (1214 Sansom Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107) .  I put together a bill of some of my friends and favorite songwriters from the area and will be sharing the stage with John Shaughnessy  and Brett Talley of IKE.  Music will start at 10 with John, followed by Dylan and then Brett.  As always, Fergie's has no cover and great beer and food.
